Family Owned & Operated for 30+ Years

SFinvest is a family owned and operated company born in Northern California. We know from personal experience what it takes to own and operate a small business, so we work with each business tenant directly and do everything we can to help them succeed. 


SFinvest officially appeared on the map in 2003 in Chico, California, but the family business had started long before. William "Bill" Sheridan has been professionally involved in the real estate lifecycle since 1984, working in each and every stage: acquisition, development, management, and disposition. He has built subdivisions, multifamily complexes, and commercial properties from the ground up and continued to own and manage several. Bill's wife Geralyn joined the business in 1990 as co-owner and CFO. As time went on their children, Brianne and Evan, decided to join SFinvest as well. 


From its development in 1986 until its disposition in 2019, the Sheridan family owned and managed Gateway Apartments, a 40-unit complex of 4-bedroom apartments primarily serving university students. There were several other complexes managed and projects built along our timeline, but in 2003 the SFinvest corporation was officially created with the acquisition of Parkview Apartments, another large multifamily property in Chico. Gateway and Parkview were the primary focus of SFinvest until both were sold between 2019 and 2021, allowing SFinvest to transfer into its Colorado properties: The Square at Five Parks and Broomfield Professional Campus.


Although Brianne is the only Sheridan currently residing and working full time in Colorado, the complete management of the properties is a team effort. Bill and Geralyn split their time between California and Colorado as needed and Evan is able to complete his work entirely from the California office. Each member of the Sheridan family brings a unique perspective and set of skills to SFinvest, creating a one of a kind team that will go to bat for their tenants.

William “Bill” Sheridan has been professionally working in the real estate sphere since 1984. He is a Commercial Realtor® and real estate broker at SFinvest Real Estate, LLC, and is licensed in both California and Colorado. As a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), his expertise in property management across categories has been well verified.


In addition to these certifications and years of experience, Bill received his M.S. in Real Estate & the Built Environment from the University of Denver in 2017, where he was an honors student. Bill currently splits his time between his home in Chico, Calif. and his second home and place of work, Arvada, Colo. When he is not working, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, a nice bourbon, and listening to the blues.

Chief Financial Officer

Geralyn Sheridan has been working in real estate and property management since 1990 and has been the CFO of SFinvest since the corporation was formed in 2003. Early on, she streamlined many of the company processes allowing SFinvest to become the truly well-oiled machine it is now.


In addition to managing properties, business operations, and the company books, Geralyn is an award-winning artisan fine jeweler and GIA Graduate Gemologist®. Additionally, she is a proud and active Rotarian, serving as the Chico Sunrise Rotary Chapter President for 2020-2021. Outside of the office, she loves creating artistic statement jewelry, traveling, local community service, and hanging out with her family (including the dogs).

Brianne Sheridan

Vice President & Property Manager

Prior to joining the family business in 2019, Brianne Sheridan had built her career in marketing and communications spanning multiple industries. In 2013 she earned her B.A. in Public Relations from Chico State, and after gaining several years of professional experience, received her M.S. in Marketing from University of Denver in 2017. This résumé combined with her affinity for spelling, grammar, and punny jokes, are the main reasons Brianne is a self-proclaimed word nerd.


Brianne is the property manager for SFinvest properties in the Denver Metro Area. Additionally, she is responsible for the implementation and management of all marketing and communications efforts. She is also the Associate Broker and Commercial Realtor® at SFinvest Real Estate, LLC. When she is not wearing one of her professional hats, Brianne enjoys camping, karaoke, soccer spectating, and spending time with her husband and their three dogs.

Evan Sheridan has been working hard in our California office since 2016. As a literal perfectionist, Evan is well-suited for his role managing company procedures and records and supporting Geralyn on the finance side.


Evan is the youngest, tallest, most meticulous member of the Sheridan family and serves the team extremely well with his logical approach to every situation. In addition, he assists with gallery management and security at Geralyn’s jewelry business. When he is not at one of these workplaces, Evan enjoys the Marvel Cinematic Universe, PC gaming, following up on current events, and spending time with his pets Angus and Mandy.
